The idea for the creation"Design Studio" - ARCHITECTURE AND LIGHT, has emerged from the need of a specialized Lighting Design Company in Quito, Ecuador.  The experience in architecture and lighting acquired by Patricia Lopez in Ecuador and Germany, as well as the experience of Veronica Lopez, in the fields of Interior Design, Graphic Design and Publicity, are important factors that lead to the offer of a qualified service and assessment in lighting and of course, architecture.

At the moment there are no existing firms in Quito, specialized on “Lighting Design”, this is considered one of our major advantages.  This new company is  the first one to offer professionals in the lighting field. Considering that lighting is a tool to enhance architecture, our services are planned to meet the needs, scope and budget of each project and client.

DESIGN STUDIO is the place, the workshop, where spaces are created and lighted, it is the place where they are studied.

Overall we provide global architectural services, with an orientation to “detail”, being our main and favorite instrument:  “LIGHT”.

DS “ARCHITECTURE AND LIGHT”´s mission is to create spaces and shape them with light, to light the things people want and need to see, as well as possible, to understand that light can make spaces and people appear as we desire.
